Luton Rights is a registered charity that has been supporting Luton residents since 1982. As a member of Advice UK and a partner of Luton Access, Luton Rights collaborates closely with Luton Citizens Advice, Luton Law Centre, and Luton Irish Forum. The charity offers free, confidential advice in several key areas, with staff who speak various community languages to better serve the diverse population:
Digital Skills Training: Offering basic IT training for individuals with little to no computer skills.
Specialist Welfare Benefits Advice: Available Monday to Friday at Community House, 15 New Bedford Road, Luton; providing expert advice and casework on all types of benefits.
Outreach Advice: Offered twice a week at various community locations, covering general housing, debt, and a comprehensive range of welfare benefits advice and casework.
Family Mediation: Providing both Legal Aid and non-legal Aid mediation services to help families who are separated or in the process of separating. This service supports families in resolving issues related to children, finances, and property outside of court.
