Luton Access is a change partnership that has set out to better meet the holistic needs of Luton citizens. It recognises the huge opportunities that arise from partnership working to create simple to access, integrated Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) services, for the benefit of customers and for the wide range of public sector funders. It brings together a number of independent specialist advice providers in one location including:

  • Luton Council

We want everyone who comes to us for support, to feel confident and comfortable with how we look after your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and store your personal information. Personal information means any information that could identify you.

What data we collect & why we need it

When you use the website

We collect some data automatically when you visit this site. This includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, and details of which version of web browser you use. We uses this information to provide you with access to the website and to monitor use of the site to identify security threats.

We use Google Analytics to collect the following information about how you use this website:

  • the pages you visit
  • how long you spend on each page
  • how you got to the site
  • what you click on while you’re visiting the site
  • a rough indication of your location using your anonymised IP address

No directly identifiable personal information is collected through Google Analytics (for example your name or address). We cannot identify you through analytics information, and will not combine analytics information with other data sets in a way that would identify who you are.

We use this information to make sure the website is meeting the needs of its users and to make improvements. 

When you use the chatbot

Our chat bot that is there to assist customers on our website. It will help you with your enquiries and provide information to you.

The web chatbot will not request any personal data as it will only answer general queries. Engaging with the chatbot is entirely voluntary, as is the provision of any information. Users are asked not to share anything personally identifying.
